Macro Search does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, precise location, or any advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
Your saved recipes and your saved macro and calorie preferences are stored locally on your own device. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.

We use this information solely to review feedback, fix problems, and respond to you if you asked us to. If you do not provide an email address, we have no way to identify you from a report.
When you search for recipes or build a meal plan, the app sends your search criteria (such as calorie range and macro targets) to our server to return matching results. These requests are not linked to your identity. Recipe and nutrition information shown in the app is sourced from publicly available third-party datasets and may contain errors; it is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical or dietary advice.
We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the service. As a normal part of delivering any online service, these providers may process standard technical data (such as IP addresses) in their server logs to route requests, maintain security, and keep the service running. We do not use this data to track or profile you.
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Device-stored preferences remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Feedback and contact messages you send us are retained in our email only as long as needed to review and act on them.
